Embark on a unique snow-shoeing adventure from Ostersund, travelling through the peaceful winter wonderland and keeping an eye out for reindeer, lynx and Arctic fox. Participants follow a network of historic trails and paths, created by the Sami people and settlers at the turn of the century. The trip includes five nights’ accommodation (camping and huts, with hotel stay on the first and last day), return flights to the UK and internal flights from Stockholm to Ostersund, meals, experienced Discover Adventure leader, local guides and all required specialist equipment. Three-days, three countries – Mont Blanc Massif trek
The Mont Blanc region boasts one of the world’s most famous trekking routes, offering jaw-dropping scenery in the Alps, only a short hop from the UK. Spend three days trekking across three countries - France, Italy and Switzerland - circling the highest peaks in Western Europe. This challenge is physically demanding and tests stamina levels, but it is well worth it for the spectacular vistas. Think towering cliffs, waterfalls spilling from glaciers, forested tracks, open meadows and crystal-clear lakes. The trip includes four nights’ accommodation (family-run hotels and mountain huts), flights, camping equipment (except sleeping bag and sleeping mat), most meals, entry to any sites on the itinerary and experienced Discover Adventure leaders. Payment options: Minimum fundraising target of £2,000pp or self-funded cost of £800pp (£149 registration fee applies).

Nine-day Lycian Way and Mount Olympos trek
Experience the real Turkey. Set in the south west of the country, where the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas meet, the Lycian Coast is a diverse mix of mountains, coastline, traditional villages and ancient cities pre-dating Alexander the Great. Participants set off from Gedelme and head towards the towering mountains. After summiting Tatla Mountain (towering 2365m), the adventure returns to the rocky coastline for the final section of the trek, finishing at the small village of Karaoz. The trip includes eight nights’ accommodation (two nights’ camping and B&B), flights and transport, camping equipment (except sleeping bag and sleeping mat), most meals, entry into sites on the itinerary, experienced Discover Adventure leaders, cooks and drivers. Payment options: Minimum fundraising target of £2,100pp or self-funded cost of £840pp (£299 registration fee applies).

11-day Panama to Nicaragua cycle trip
Home to over 20% of the world’s biodiversity, this journey through Central America is an exciting discovery of rainforest and diverse habitats. Cyclists will ride through three Central American countries - Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua - along the Caribbean coast, passing banana and pineapple plantations, rainforests and smoking volcanoes. This is not any normal challenge - expect high heat and humidity. The trip includes ten nights’ accommodation (2-3 star hotels, including jungle lodges), flights, a bike, most meals, and the services of experienced Discover Adventure leaders, drivers and mechanics. Payment options: Minimum fundraising target of £3,600pp or self-funded cost of £1,440pp (£399 registration fee applies).

10-day Great Wall of China cycle trip
Take in the extraordinarily rich culture and history of the Great Wall of China, snaking 6,000 km across a breathtaking landscape. Witness this world wonder from the saddle of a bike, riding through the remote and mountainous area north-east of Beijing. There are several taxing climbs along the route, but the privilege of experiencing the landscape and its people far outweighs any aches and pains. There’s a chance to explore fascinating Beijing on the first and last days too. The trip includes nine nights’ accommodation (hotels and hostels), flights, most meals, a bike, entry into sites on the itinerary, experienced Discover Adventure leaders, cooks and drivers.
