July 8, 2011 - PRLog -- The Glass Doctor of the Black Hills franchise, owned by Darin Cooper, is operating in emergency mode after the hail storms June 24 and 26. The shop extended operating hours and is running at full capacity.

The shop has reported shattered back window glass, broken home windows and cracked windshields. If windshield chips are caught early, many can be repaired before they turn into cracks. Windshields with cracks in the drivers’ line of vision should be replaced immediately for safety.

“We’ve been doing what we can to help everyone out,” Cooper said. “A lot of people from out of town need auto glass, and we’re trying to get them back on the road.”
Glass Doctor of the Black Hills has seen about a 600 percent increase in sales compared to the week before the storm.

The shop is located at 1400 Deadwood Avenue North, Suite B, in Rapid City. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Glass Doctor of the Black Hills at (605) 415-4435 or visit http://www.glassrepairrapidcitysd.com.
