New YouTube Video ‘Animals in Snow’ Helps Folks Beat the Heat

July 7, 2011 - PRLog -- In case you haven’t noticed, Summer is here. And it‘s hot. But pianist and composer Edward Weiss has an idea that may help you cool off.

Weiss, who owns and operates Piano Lessons by Quiescence Music has just released a new YouTube video titled ’Animals in Snow.’ This video runs a little over one minute and features piano music by Weiss set to a slide show of, you guessed it, animals in snow.

Weiss says…

“When it‘s Wintertime, people yearn for warm weather. When it‘s hot out, they want to remember what it‘s like to experience cooler temps. That‘s why I created this short video, It combines my two loves, nature and music into one.”

Weiss, no stranger to the piano himself, teaches something called ‘new age’ piano online. Soothing and relaxing, the New Age piano style, while not as newfangled as the planking fad has it’s controversy as well.

Weiss explains:

“The term ‘new age’ has gotten more flack than just about any other genre of music out there. But the fact is it’s just a soothing, relaxing piano style that many use to unwind with. My piano course teaches adults how to do that and while it has absolutely nothing to do with religion, you’d be surprised how many are turned off by that term.
