And for founder Tracy Griffiths, the Cheshire businesswoman behind the enterprise, it was cause for a double celebration with the network’s membership figure reaching more than 90.
“I’m delighted with the progress being made by our group,” said Tracy yesterday. “I can’t believe we’ve grown our membership to just short of 100 in 12 months. But I am also aware that the rapid rate of progress is down to the magnificent support that the business folk of Chester have given me.
“Without that support the Chester Business Network would not be where it is today. I am really looking forward to Year Two with the same enthusiasm as I had when we launched the group in June 2010.
“The Chester Business Network is a community I am privileged to be a part of. Yes, we are a business networking group with the aim of helping members to do better business. But we are also a support group - a group of trusted friends who help each other through the trials and tribulations of life.”
The next Business Network Chester meeting is on July 14th at Nunsmere Hall near Northwich. To register for a place at the inaugural meeting call Tracy on: 07768 926602 or email her at: tracy@business-
