Urban Optics to host Killarney’s first ever Big Fit Event.

July 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Urban Optics, Family Opticians of the year, will be offering free contact lens assessments, instruction and trials as part of the Big Fit day on Saturday July 9th. The day is aimed at providing an overall contact lens experience for those who have yet to discover the benefits of wearing contacts. The event, the first of its kind in Killarney, is a unique opportunity to be fitted with contacts under professional supervision, without having to pay the usual assessment fees.

"Contact lenses are an ideal solution for nearly all glasses wearers of any age.", says Pat O 'Donoghue, Optometrist and Urban Optics Owner. "They are a means of safely correcting vision without the limitations of wearing glasses. It is impossible to fully realise the benefits of contacts until you first try them."

Contact lenses are virtually invisible, they offer the wearer a wider field of vision and are the safest and most comfortable means of correcting vision for all types of sport. Considered the more convenient alternative to spectacles, contacts will not limit the wearer when selecting sunglasses or when watching 3D cinema.
