Follow on Google News | “Back Talk Live! with Dr. Ed Kornel” to Expand to One-Hour Format on Sunday, July 10 on WOR-AMNew York’s #1 show about back and neck pain to move from 7:30-8 pm to 9-10 pm time slot
By: Laura Mogil, Harrison Edwards PR While 80% of the adults in this country have suffered at one point in their lives from back and neck pain, only three percent need surgery. The problem is that they often wait too long to go to the doctor or spend too much time traveling from specialist to specialist to diagnose their problem. According to Dr. Kornel, “An hour-long show allows us to provide our audience with more comprehensive medical advice, expert opinions, and most importantly, it doubles the time to answer pressing call-in questions.” Dr. Kornel’s special guest on July 10 will be Tom Kallish, founder of Tommie Copper, a company that produces compression wear products with copper-infused yarn. The object is to reduce pain and improve one’s quality of life. Kallish, whose company is located in Ossining, NY, will discuss the science behind copper’s influence on stimulating the immune system to fight infections, to repair injured tissues, and to promote healing. He will also discuss research that has indicated copper’s ability to help prevent inflammation in arthritis and similar diseases. Listeners who are unable to tune in to WOR-AM 710, are invited to visit www.backtalkonair.com to hear the live stream or listen to podcasts after shows air. *A resident of Bedford Hills, NY, Dr. Kornel is a neurosurgeon with Brain and Spine Surgeons of New York in White Plains, NY and is affiliated with nine hospitals in the metropolitan New York region. He is a board member and past president of the New York State Neurosurgical Society, a New York delegate to the Council of State Neurosurgical Societies, and is on the board of directors of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Kornel has been named a top doctor by New York Magazine, Westchester Magazine, Becker’s Orthopedic and Spine Review, and Castle Connoly (New York Region). End
