Manchester United Soccer Schools Builds On Family Theme In Abu Dhabi

“The youngsters and their parents who come here are made to feel part of the MUSS family, and our summer courses are designed very much with the family in mind.

The four weekly summer courses will take place on the unique air conditioned football pitches at the Dome@Rawdhat, now firmly established as the MUSS base in Abu Dhabi and also offering first-class outdoor facilities, making it a year-round centre of activity in the capital for thousands of players.

Running from Sunday to Wednesday, the summer programmes feature separate daily themes built around different technical areas of the game.

Each coaching session will use the current crop of Manchester United first team players as the inspiration and model examples from which the children can learn and develop themselves both on and off the pitch.

The summer courses focus on short passing and dribbling skills, control and creating chances, and culminate with an exciting ‘Play Like Champions’ tournament giving youngsters

the chance to display their newly honed skills in a series of mini matches.  

For the first time ever in the UAE, one week will be dedicated to learning goalkeeping skills, with coaches from Manchester flying to Abu Dhabi specifically to train and teach the children.
