The Muther! B2A made some heads turn!

July 5, 2011 - PRLog -- This past week has been a large one for Base 2 Applications, the makers of Color Connect. Four of the five team members attended the hackathon and came out with some great ideas and notable prizes. We will be writing about each of the awards individually, but wanted to inform you of the highlights.

1. The grand prize challenge was to develop an application for the CTIA Conference. Base 2 Apps CEO, Sargon Benjamin, took on this challenge and ended up producing the winning application! Check out the video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RM82jJSrUy8&feature=youtu.be



2. ATT and Immersion sponsored categories around sustainability, accessibility and use of vibration technologies within applications. Sargon Benjamin, Paul Benjamin and Sarang Ratanjee took on these categories and created a new experience in Color Connect (Android users you will be in for a surprise in the next update!!) and developed a new application called ‘ViBe’. Sargon, Paul and Sarang came out on top again by winning awards from both ATT and Immersion for their work on the applications.

3. FITML hosted another challenge in which the category winners would be based off of the best use of the technology and design using FITML technologies. Paul Benjamin, Simon Stahl and Sargon Benjamin took on this challenge and ended winning the best UI design category for their work on an application called ‘Idea Incubator”

4. B2A also entered the ‘Disaster Relief’ category and received very positive feedback for DRA- Disaster Relief Awareness. The release on iOS will be soon.

The event was fun and the B2A team came out with smiles on their faces and a new motivation to grasp the new technologies out there and to crank out updates to Color Connect. We can wait to have you update CC!!!
