Eat, Drink and be Merry at Finnfest Gala Dinner

July 5, 2011 - PRLog -- On Friday, August 12, enter into an enchanted evening filled with gourmet delights, inspiring entertainment, and an array of special guest appearances at the FinnFest Gala Dinner. Hosted by international model and award-nominated actress, Anna Easteden, the cultural evening will take place in the Golden Pacific Ballroom at the Town & Country Resort Hotel on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Finnish celebrity chef, Stefan Richter, a runner-up in the fifth season (2009) of Bravo’s “Top Chef” and owner of Stefan’s L.A. Farm in Santa Monica, will prepare a five-course dinner highlighting the finest in today’s Finnish cuisine.
Entertainment throughout the evening will include a fashion show by Finn Style featuring Marimekko; musical performances by violinist, Jari Suomalainen and jazz pianist, Lenni-Kalle; and a silent auction benefiting FinnFest 2011.

FinnFest USA is an annual celebration that highlights contemporary Finland and celebrates the unique Finnish-American heritage. Celebrated since 1982, the 28th Annual FinnFest Conference and Festival offers five days (August 10-14, 2011) of activities including diverse entertainment and cultural offerings, sports, authentic food and more.
