July 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Along with the complete redesign of Final Cut Pro into FCP X came a number of questions. Get the answers with a free webinar at FilmmakingWebinars.com!

Apple redesigned it’s popular editing platform from the ground up, leaving many users with questions about what new features are there and where previous features ended up. FilmmakingWebinars.com has announced they will be hosting a webinar, airing live for free on July 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM PDT, that can help editors answer all of these questions. The webinar will be presented with both FCP 7 and FCP X running side by side to demonstrate how features have moved. The fears and concerns of broadcasters and filmmakers will be addressed, as well possible solutions and workarounds.

Presenter Stephen Kanter is an Avid and Apple Certified editor who has cut features, documentaries and television on both Avid and Final Cut systems for over 15 years. A Final Cut Studio Master Trainer and Certified Xsan Administrator, he helped develop the Apple certified curriculum as a Technical Editor and contributing writer for the Apple Pro Training Series, including Final Cut Pro for Avid Editors, Advanced Editing and Finishing Techniques in Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and Soundtrack Pro.

If all of this wasn’t enough to bring you in, lucky attendees will be going home with some fantastic prizes. Gold Sponsor FxFactory will be giving away one copy of FxFactory Pro, which includes 173 effects, generators and transitions for Final Cut Pro, Motion, Final Cut Express, and Adobe After Effects. Over 140 of these effects work with the new FCPX! Another attendee will be going home with a copy of Gold Sponsor Automatic Duck’s Pro Export FCP 4, which allows you to export Avid MXF media that connects to your exported AAF file, as well as trasnlate many effects from FCP7 to to your Avid or Quantel Generation Q system.

Prize Sponsors have also contributed excellent prizes. Phyx will be giving away one copy of Phyx Keyer 2.0, while SugarFx will be giving away one copy of Slate Tool and two copies of Design Tools. All of this combined make this a must attend event!
