Cave Creek, Arizona, — LUV Shack Ranch Horse Rescue announces that Stephanie Bacher, one of the hundreds of volunteers here at the horse rescue, has been appointed our new youth activities coordinator. Stephanie is working on her degree in elementary education has been involved with horses for over ten years. In addition, although only in her early 20's she has made two trips to Africa to work as a volunteer teaching English and working in orphanages. She has many years of experience working with special needs children making her the ideal candidate to take on this role. “Stephanie will ensure that our youth programs continue to grow as we 'save the world one horse, one child at a time' “ states Luv Shack founder Joey Ogburn. Stephanie adds “This is an exciting new opportunity for me. We are always in need of additional volunteers, so I hope others will come on board to help as I take on this new adventure”
The Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit that is a 100% volunteer run organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and slaughter-bound horses with the ultimate goal of finding each animal a loving, forever home.
Additionally, we are committed to creating therapeutic programs for at risk children to help them heal from similar circumstances. Our goal is to serve the community by providing the opportunity for horses and children to heal one another physically, mentally and emotionally.
