LUV SHACK HORSE RESCUE HOSTS C.A.S.S. Vista Colina Emergency Homeless Family Program at Kids Camp

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 5, 2011 - Cave Creek, Arizona — LUV Shack Ranch Horse Rescue announces our first of many summer camps for Vista Colina Homeless Kids “I LUV this program!” States LUV Shack founder Joey Ogburn. “I get to be a part of horses healing kids and kids healing horses. Horses do not judge, they only see who the person is inside” Every horse that is used in the program is a rescued horse from many situations, and many are homeless as well.

“There will be haltering, saddling, and riding bareback. And my own personal favorite this year is we have a miniature horse named Henry who pulls a cart each child will learn how to drive a cart and go through and obstacle course.  I won’t share the details, it will be an experience that will last a life time not to be missed!”
Our session will start June 27-July 1, 2011 7am-1pm Daily
On Friday we will hold a Graduation Ceremony at 10am that will include:
•   Flag Ceremony (one of the kids will be riding a horse carrying a flag)
•   The last amazing experience is for the Horses that the child was assigned will paint them a picture on a canvas to take home with them
•   They will receive a patch for 2011 LUV Shack Kids Camp
•   The kids will proceed to show what they have learned ground work, saddle, bridle, ride bare back, ride with saddle, driving a cart, etc.


The Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit that is a 100% volunteer run organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and slaughter-bound horses with the ultimate goal of finding each animal a loving, forever home.
