Service Foods Honored As No. 1 Large Private Company During Georgia Fast 40 Awards

The Georgia Fast 40 awards are issued by Georgia Trend magazine, a statewide business publication, along with the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and southeastern regional CPA firm Cherry, Bekaert & Holland LLP.

The program honors middle-market companies headquartered in Georgia that have had the greatest growth in revenue and employees over the last three years. Twenty companies with revenues of $15 million to $60 million were recognized in the Small-Middle Market category, while an additional 20 companies with revenues ranging from $60 million to $550 million were recognized in the Large Market category.

To be selected, companies had to demonstrate sustained growth over three years, with emphasis placed on the latest year. More weight was given to revenue growth – 75 percent – compared to 25 percent for employee growth. Service Foods’ record earned it the award for the No. 1 large private company, while ExamWorks Group, an independent medical examination services company led by CEO Jim Price, earned the award for the No. 1 large public company and overall winner.
