Minister-President of Flanders Visited New York

July 1, 2011 - PRLog -- On Saturday 25th of June, H.E. Kris Peeters, Minister-President of Flanders, met with Christophe Vandaele, Managing Director of private investment firm HI7E to visit one of HI7E's New York based investments SBR Multisports. The Minister-president is visiting New York from Wednesday through Saturday as a member of a high-level Belgian Economic Mission headed by H.R.H. Belgium’s Crown Prince Philippe.

The Minister-President is an avid athlete and enjoys cycling, running and mountaineering previously climbing Mount Aconcagua and cycling races as the tour of Flanders. SBR Multisports is a specialty retailer focused on high end swimming , cycling and running gear. SBR has successfully branded themselves as one of the top seeds in the industry. The company offers apparel, gear and accessories to consumers around the world.

The Minister-President of Flanders had expressed his keen interest in running inside New York's Central Park, an opportunity Mr. Vandaele could not deny. The two talk business, politics and mountaineering.

The Minister-President concluded the evening with a reception on the occasion of upcoming Flanders day on board of the yacht The Atlantica for a cruise on New York's famed Hudson river.
