PRLog - July 1, 2011 - ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- ASHEVILLE, NC - July 1, 2011 - Green Paper Packages, in conjunction with the Ephemera Blog, announces the launch of detailed, comprehensive, digital sampling of a 1914 New York City department store catalog. The download sells for $18 and is available through e-junkie.com.
This digital download contains dozens of pages of ladies clothing, shoes, and accessories as well as men's and children's clothing, toys, furniture, sporting goods, tools, and much more. The vintage images, which number in the thousands, were professionally scanned at 300dpi.
"With more than 150 pages--about three dozen in vibrant color--there's something for everybody," says Mary Green, the artist and collector behind Green Paper Packages. "This is a hefty file, with lots of detail and interest on each page. Collage artists, scrapbookers, and ephemera collectors will be fascinated by the detailed product images and intriguing advertising copy, which afford a rare and true glimpse into another era."
Artists and others who purchase the download may sell individual creations made with these images; however, the individual images and the file may not be copied or forwarded to others; and may not be resold or redistributed in any form.
