June 30, 2011 - PRLog -- The Sabrina UnScripted radio show debuted across the Treasure Coast in May of 2011. Hosted by local business owner and author, Sabrina K. Carpenter, Sabrina UnScripted highlights local nonprofits, showcases dynamic Florida businesses and brings awareness to children’s literacy efforts every Tuesday at 6pm on 107.9FM and 1370AM.

Having always been passionate about writing, Sabrina K. Carpenter started her professional writing firm, Perfected Pen, in 2006 to provide high-quality editing and writing services to businesses across the country. In 2010, she developed her latest division, Perfected Pen Publishing, to assist authors with editing, marketing and publishing.

Determined to also spread her love of reading and writing to children around the nation, she launched her “Eager Readers, Brighter Writers” literacy program to promote and encourage the love of reading and writing within children while in a fun, supportive atmosphere.

Carpenter has appeared as a guest on dozens of radio shows across the country in connection with her businesses and children’s literacy programs. When recently offered her own show, she jumped at the opportunity.

"Sabrina UnScripted is a radio show that is all about inspiration. I'm constantly encouraging my audience to give back to their communities in any way possible," Carpenter states.

Currently sponsored by The United Way of Indian River County and Under the Canopy studio kitchen, Sabrina UnScripted is always looking for businesses and nonprofits who want to increase their local exposure through sponsorship and advertising.

The show has featured guests such as Chris Robertson from CASTLE, local author Leona Bodie, Marc Camelleri with Indian River Federal Credit Union, Spencer Porteous of Everything Outdoors and Lorrie Browne from Big Dog Ranch Rescue. Reaching a local audience of more than 11,000 listeners, these businesses are benefiting greatly from such a cohesive collaboration.

"In this economy, I want to ensure that our local businesses are receiving as much support and publicity as possible. As a private business owner myself, I know how beneficial it can be to collaborate with those who have common goals," Carpenter explains.
