Follow on Google News | House of Lords celebrate Wonder Twins and Youngest GCSE PassBrightest Inner-city students go to Parliament to celebrate their academic achievements with Heads of State and Presidents on Friday 1st July as the Excellence in Education (EIE) Programme host their Annual Prizegiving Ceremony in the House of Lords.
By: Hannah Christian-Rivers London, UK: History will be made tomorrow afternoon when the brightest and the best inner-city students in Britain are hosted at the House of Lords for their record-breaking achievement in tough subjects such as Mathematics and Modern Foreign languages. The academic award ceremony for all catergories of students will attract Heads of governments, Presidents, leading academics and industry leaders. The Oscar-type event is expected to honour child prodigies Peter and Paula Imafidon who passed A-level Mathematics papers at 7, and became the youngest ever children to accept secondary places at the age of 9. Others include Dee Alli who is the world record holder of the youngest person to pass a GCSE at 5 and Chimmy Agbara who is the youngest person ever to pass German GCSE with the highest score nationally while in year 10.
