Vacation Rental Management Companies Can Now Encourage Their Home Owners To Turn Spare Weeks Into Big Donations

Vacation Rentals for Charity, the only company that simultaneously allows owners to increase booking revenues and be charitable, today announce a business partnership that will help RealTimeRental clients turn spare weeks into big donations.

RealTimeRental’s new partnership provides property managers, representing more than 100,000 rental properties, with any easy way to list homes and sell vacant weeks. Geronimo!, which launched on March 1, 2011, already has more than $1 million in donated vacations in its growing inventory of vacations. There are more than 1.1 million nonprofits that can benefit from donations made through Geronimo.

Current RealTimeRental clients are now encouraged to visit the Geronimo! Property Manager interface (http://www.geronimo.com/propertymanager) and set up a free Geronimo account to get familiar with all of the features and benefits of the platform.  Later this summer, RealTimeRental clients will be able to easily opt in for fully integrated Geronimo services and properties and inventory will automatically be imported/ marketed at that time.

The partnership also provides property managers with another incentive.  While all Geronimo listings are free, property managers still receive their full fee on every Geronimo reservation.  Property owners have the option of donating half or all of the rental proceeds.  The manager/owner remains in full control of the rates and of the dates donated.

The rollout of a fully integrated RealTimeRental/Geronimo! solution is set to begin later this summer.
