Talk2theAnimalsRadio Presents Show: Fearful Dogs and Fireworks-Not a Winning Combination

June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- SHOREWOOD, MN  -  Talk2theAnimalsRadio, a BlogTalkRadio show about animals and animal communication, will present a show entitled Fearful Dogs and Fireworks: Not a Winning Combination on Thursday, June 30 at 8PM CST.

23 million dogs – greater than the population of Australia (22.6M) - suffer from anxiety. This timely show gives dog owners practical tips and ideas on how to care for their dogs during the upcoming 4th of July holiday.

Guest on the show is Debbie Jacobs, author of A Guide to Living With & Training a Fearful Dog. This book was a finalist in the 2008 Dog Writers Association of America’s annual writing competition.  Debbie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA and CAP2) and an expert in understanding the mind and the behavior of a fearful, shy or anxious dog.

Debbie created the www.FearfulDogs.com website to help owners and trainers learn about the most effective and humane ways to work with fearful dogs.

Also on the show is Shannon Benecke, founder of Dasher’s Window to Wellness, a holistic pet wellness business. Shannon will be presenting a holistic tip that can help to reduce noise anxiety in dogs.

Talk2theAnimalsRadio is hosted by animal communicator and founder of Talk2theAnimals, Janet Roper. Animal communication helps pet owners understand the world from their pet’s point of view.
