Cabarrus Eye Center offers Pediatric Eye Care

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 29, 2011 - Cabarrus Eye Center, the only eye care center in Concord and north Charlotte, NC to offer pediatric eye care, is proud to have Dr. Sandra M. Brown as kids’ eye doctor. Dr. Brown is trained in pediatric ophthalmology along with adult strabismus.  She is a Diplomate with the American Board of Ophthalmology.  Dr. Brown was raised in northern California and now calls Concord, NC her home.

“I love work with kids, and I really enjoy the kids only optical center and kid friendly services we have here at Cabarrus Eye Center, “ says Dr. Sandra Brown.

At Cabarrus Eye Center, Dr. Brown offers experienced care for the following pediatric eye issues:  amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (eye misalignment), eye muscle surgery, blocked tear ducts, pediatric cataracts, styes, congenital abnormalities, eye trauma, eye infections, neurological vision problems and eye loss. She also does school vision examinations as well as eye glasses and contact lens prescription.

The pediatric eye center at Cabarrus Eye Center offers late afternoon hours to accommodate working parents and various school schedules.  Eye surgeries are scheduled on Friday’s so that children can usually return to school or daycare on the following Monday.
