Sqwishland is TOYCON 2011's Most Innovative Toy

June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- At the recently held 10th Annual Philippine TOYCON 2011 at SM Megamall, Philippines on June 18 and 19th, Sqwishland took home the Most Innovative Toy Award.

Labeled as Asia's biggest convention for comics, toys, anime, cosplay, movies, and gaming, the 2-day toy convention was flocked by over 20,000 fanatics, with the three Megatrade halls jam packed. Highlighting the event this year was the 10th year anniversary and the partnership with various toy companies, upcoming blockbuster movies, and international conventions.

Sqwishland showcased its online game, Sqwishland.com, at the Sqwishland booth where kids were free to register and play on the spot. Originally made famous as vending toys, Sqwishland capsules in vending machines were on display, along with Sqwishland plush toys and the retail toy line.

Sqwishland held a DIY Sqwishland Design Contest where 20 lucky kids had a chance to design their very own Sqwishlander with the DIY Sqwishland kit. The top 3 winning designers took home boxes of Sqwishland toys and prize money.

Sqwishland toys are a collectible craze with kids in the United States of America and are developed by Sqwishland LLC, a company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. The online game where the Sqwishland toys come to life, Sqwishland.com, is designed and managed by the Sqwishland team in Manila, Philippines.
