SongWriter Mobile App for iPhone Provides Simple Template for Writing, Recording and Sharing Songs

June 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Simi Valley, CA - Daniel and David Harrison, twin brothers who love music and want to help people in need, have developed an easy-to-use mobile app for anyone who wants to write songs, ranging from the experienced to beginner or for anyone who has a moment of inspiration and they are moved to write a song about it. The brothers are donating a 10% of the proceeds from SongWriter to support ForeverFound.org, a non-profit organization that rescues and restores victims of human trafficking and child prostitution.

Song Writer has  a simple interface  and provides the functionality to create, write and share songs.  Users can name their song and fill in the optional tempo and key fields, then edit lyrics and chords as if they had a pen and paper.  Work will be automatically saved and users have the option to record their songs. The envelope icon allows users to share projects directly from the app to anyone with an email address, and includes the song name, tempo, and key indicator as well as the recording file if one was made.  The file can be opened in Word, Pages, or any text program to be worked on further.
