Media Crossing Screen Captures from Origin Comic
The Media Crossing tie-in for the Chris Ember origin comic book, "From Spark To Flame", was filmed On May 14, 2011, and will be available online, free of charge, in the coming weeks. Actor Brandon Stumpf, garbed in an ashen suit and iconic white top hat, plays the role of the Sapphire Magician and spars with Chip Perro, playing the role of Christopher Ember. Both Stumpf and Perro have martial arts training, with Stumpf having 12 years combined training in Shaolin, Brazilian Jujitsu, and Muythai, and Perro 21 years in Shotokan. The two experienced martial artists were able to let loose, and fight with passion, as they brought the pages of the comic into the realm of live action. The scene was filmed on a green screen set, and the edited video will show the characters in combat, on the disc of limbo, in a powerful Media Crossing moment.
This Media Crossing project is the first of five projects planned to tie-in with the Mission Park Superhero origin comics coming out this year, and in early 2012. The next origin comic and Media Crossing video will feature superhero Victor Strength, The World’s Strongest Man, from the comic titled “Weight of the World”. Regular updates about the Media Crossing projects are posted online at Perro Worldwide Comics at http://www.perroworldwide.com.
