June 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Yangon in itself is oft-explored and less visited. For those who actually do come to the city, even fewer traverse beyond the city boundaries. Exotissimo is proud to have in its list of Myanmar day trips a tour aimed at providing some insight into life outside of Yangon’s city limits.

Visitors will transfer to the Nanthida Jetty to board a ferry to cross the Yangon River to Dhala. Taking 15 minutes, the ride passes through colorful street markets where locals come to buy and sell their wares. From here, guests are transported to the rustic town via trishaw.

Guests will immediately recognize the disparity between life in the city and here. Nonetheless, the citizens continually greet visitors with the same warm and open smiles as anywhere in Myanmar. Guests will visit the village along with the market before heading towards the temple and learn about monastic life.
