Insider Trading Found Prior to Google Stock Price Drop

June 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Insiderslab.com reports today on legal insider trading for Google, Staples, Dolby, Covance, Applied Materials & Las Vegas Sands.  As an example, C-Level Officers and Directors of Google Inc. sold US$292.21M shares at the google stock price of US$504.05 - 593.60 during last 90 days.

Besides reporting direct ownership and transactions, corporate insiders have to file their indirect holdings made by their relatives as well. The SEC also indicates that insiders must also report owning indirect ownership of any shares. However, Insiderslab.com suggests that investors pay more attention to those trades involving direct holdings since insiders are more likely to practice more discretion when they the shares are registered under their own names.
