Upcoming Transformers 3 Movie is the Talk of the Week

June 27, 2011 - PRLog -- The latest movie in the Transformers series is released this week on Friday. Transformers: Dark of the Moon already has millions of Americans planning on seeing the movie opening night. Throughout the weekend the movie is expecting to be the highest grossing movie yet for the series.

Most of the major characters and cast members are staying the same. For example, the main character is still Sam Witwicky, played by Shia LeBouf. However, much to the disappointment of many of the movie's male followers, Megan Fox will not be playing the lead female role. Instead, this role was given to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The story behind this film is that a number of Decepticons lay dormant on the moon. Without meaning to, mankind interferes with their slumber and awakens them. As they "wake up", they invade Earth and threaten mankind's existence. With only a few Autobots to defend the Earth (including Optimus Prime himself), it doesn't seem like mankind has a chance to survive.

Critics are already claiming that the movie is going to be hit, but this weekend will show what the rest of the America thinks about this latest installment.
