By: Press Financing a post-secondary education is truly difficult during our economic recession recovery. While CGF has its roots in the Philippines, it also recognizes the financial devastation within its own U.S. borders. Today, the millions of dollars the U.S. federal government is pouring into Federal student aid via the $97.4M in Recovery Act appropriation for grant distribution is being reported to have been awarded to some 275,000 education jobs saved or created with this funding. CGF is likewise committed to helping U.S. students by establishing its first Starving Student Scholarship program to help pay for a U.S. college education. Our 2011 goal is to raise $100k USD specifically and exclusively for CGF’s new scholarship program. Details about the scholarship program to include a full range of academic areas to be announced. While the program details are a work in progress, CGF’s starving students fund-raising goal for 2011 is to obtain $100k USD cash donations for the sole purpose of offering additional scholarship support to U.S. post-secondary education students. Your in-kind scholarship donation will help us achieve our goal. Checks or money orders should be made payable to The Cullinan Group Foundation. Cash donations can be sent directly to us at: The Cullinan Group Foundation at 871 Coronado Center Drive, Suite 200, Henderson, NV 89052 USA. Because we are a 501 c3 public charity nonprofit organization, all donations to CGF are tax deductible.
