Roswell's Trilogy Trolley Crawl

The third annual Trilogy Trolley Crawl is scheduled for Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 7-11pm. Visit Europe without leaving Roswell, Georgia as all three historic homes transform to European capital with food, drink, entertainment and fun.

June 26, 2011 - PRLog -- A Southern Trilogy, Roswell, Georgia's three historic homes, will host the third annual Trilogy Trolley Crawl -- the must-do event of the summer! Visit Europe without leaving Roswell as each home is transformed for an evening to one of Europe's great cities. A limited number of tickets are available at $40 each. The ticket price includes a sneak-peak admission to the three historic homes; Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Smith Plantation plus one drink ticket and three sampler plate food tickets as well as live entertainment and trolley shuttles from site to site. The evening festivities will take place on the grounds of the three historic properties.

This award-winning event will transport guests to three magnificent European destinations where they can enjoy regional cuisine, libations and special entertainment all without leaving Roswell!!        .

Themes:

Live like a King for the evening as you stroll through the grounds of Barrington Hall, where you’ll have opportunities to mingle with ‘Royalty’ including Queen Victoria and the newly wed Duke & Duchess of Cambridge! You may even earn a noble title from the Queen herself! Cool down with a walk through the London Fog station and then relive the 60’s alongside the best Beatles Tribute band this side of the pond! Traditional pub food will be served including English Bangers & Mash in a stout-beer demi-glace alongside Trifles prepared with fresh berries, sponge cake and vanilla cream. Wash it all down with the “Perfect Pint” (a traditional British beer on tap).

Bulloch Hall will turn up the heat with the famous ‘Dames Aflame’ who make a lasting impression with their Can Can routine, Marie Antoinette act, and French Feather Fan dance! You’ll be taken away to Paris to hear the sultry sounds of authentic French vocalist, Josephine Baker and experience all the thrills of the Paris nightlife. Delicious Parisian cuisine will include Salmon & Spinach Encroute served with a wild mushroom salad with a champagne vinaigrette and Crepes Suzette. A “Champagne Cocktail” is sure to tickle your taste buds while you fall in love all over again.

You’ll feel Italy in the air as you arrive at Smith Plantation where you can take a walk down the streets of Rome with iconic music and food enjoyed throughout Italy. Rock the night away at our “Roman Disco” with famous local DJ Italiano, Steve the Extreme and give your best shot at the Italian Chicken Dance! The “Italian Violin Virtuoso” will be roaming the grounds along with “Constantine the Roman Gladiator” who will offer tales from the Coliseum. Satisfy your pasta cravings with Gnocchi prepared with prosciutto, oven-dried tomatoes and pesto served with crostini bruschetta and finish off the experience with Cannoli’s prepared with sambuca, chocolate chips and powered sugar. Barrel-aged “Vino” will round out this special evening.

Six trolleys will continuously loop to transport guests from site to site and parking is available at each site with additional parking at the First Baptist Church parking lot on Mimosa Boulevard. Guests may begin the evening at any of the three locations.

Barrington Hall is the home of Barrington King, son of Roswell King and co-founder of Roswell, GA. The 1842 Greek Temple museum/home has been lovingly restored and is open daily for tours. Surrounding area features the only antebellum garden in Atlanta.
