DJ FlyyMommy to Spin at MomPreneurs Charity Benefit June 28 in NYC

June 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Fashion designer, dancer, DJ and working mom, Tamika “DJ FlyyMommy” Haywood will spin the 1’s and 2’s at the “1st Annual MomPreneurs Against Human Trafficking” Charity Benefit for Stop Child Trafficking Now Tuesday, June 28 from 6:00PM-9:00PM at Pranna NY 79 Madison Ave.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Haywood, creator of clothing line Cultureflyy, goes by the tagline "Live in 3D : Designer, Dancer, DJ."  Considered a versatile dancer, after attending Hofstra University and giving birth to her daughter Ava Niara, Haywood decided to pursue another passion of hers, becoming a DJ. A Jane of All Trades, Haywood hopes to inspire other women, especially mothers, to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit and pursue their life’s passion.

An event created for women by women, MomPreneurs Against Human Trafficking helps working mothers and social justice leaders raise awareness for their businesses and fundraising for Stop Child Trafficking Now. DJ FlyyMommy, a great addition to a lineup of amazing women raising awareness for successful mothers in business and local anti-human trafficking efforts will join featured MOMpreneurs:

Sheena Edwards, Founder/Designer of Lizzie Lou Shoes;

Ros Guerrero, Founder/Inventor of Ficklets ;

100% of the proceeds will be donated to SCT NOW, a non-profit organization that exists to stop child trafficking by targeting the source of child trafficking: predators who drive the sex industry everywhere in the world, including in local communities.

An of evening of fundraising, cocktails, desserts, live music, dancing, product viewings, networking, raffles and social networking, women in business and social justice leaders are encouraged to attend and support the cause. Special guest  Lucinda Cross, Founder of Corporate Mom Dropouts, host of What’s Your Story on MomTV and Business Birthing Consultant, will speak at the event.
