Saint Lucia Proves That Romance Is Alive And Kicking In The UK

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 24, 2011 - Basking in the glow of the Royal Wedding and proving that romance is still alive and kicking, the Tourist Board’s unique Facebook competition calls for all romantic souls to stand up and be counted. The competition will offer one lucky winner and their partner a stunning seven night holiday to the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, staying at the luxury resort of Jade Mountain.

Running for six weeks, the competition will be hosted via a dedicated Most Romantic Brit page on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/saintluciauk - and to enter users will be invited to post 25-300 words detailing why they deserve the title of ‘Most Romantic Brit’. Users can put themselves forward or even nominate a friend or family member – the only thing needed is a lovely romantic story and imagery of the person in question. Once the post is live, it’s every entry for itself as friends and fans of the page are called upon to ‘like’ their favourite romantic gesture. The five entrants with the most ‘Likes’ will then be shortlisted for the final and given the opportunity to go on and play for a fantastic holiday to Saint Lucia.

The final will require all five shortlisted entries to upload a video stating why they feel their romantic tale should win and provide details on why they believe Saint Lucia is the ideal romantic destination. A panel of judges will then select the overall lucky winner. The closing date for entries is 8th July 2011.
