The Cameroon Professional Society (CPS) is proud to recognize The Immigrant Magazine as a Media Partner and Bronze Sponsor of the CPS Distinguished Annual Congress scheduled for July 29th to 31st, at The Hilton Washington D.C. North hotel.
 
June 24, 2011 - PRLog -- The CPS Distinguished Annual Congress is the seminal event that brings together Cameroonian professionals from all walks of life and throughout the world to discuss concrete issues facing Cameroonian communities and especially issues facing Cameroon.

This two day congress is organized under the theme- "Cameroon: Collective Efforts towards Sustainable Development” and will have as keynote speakers:
-Dr. Gerald B. Tanyi - Chief Counsel and Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Head, International Finance Corporation Division, World Bank Group
-Mrs. Ann-Michele Gundlach - Associate Director, MHA Program, Department of Health Policy and Management and Co-Director, MPH Health Leadership and Management Concentration, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
-Mr. Paul Tasong - Secretary General, Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Development of Cameroon
-Mr. Christopher Che - President and CEO, Che International Group, LLC and Hooven-Dayton Corporation.

Congress attendees will interact closely with other professionals from across the globe in formulating strategies during panel discussions and working sessions related to personal development, healthcare, economic development, entrepreneurship.
The 2010 Distinguished Annual Congress took place between July 30th and August 1st at the Hilton BWI hotel, under the theme “Towards a Progressive Cameroon-Becoming Involved”. This event attracted about 80 speakers with 300+ professionals in attendance.
