June 24, 2011 - PRLog -- This means that you have the opportunity to pick up 80 pages of the most up to date eBook writing, editing, publishing and marketing information.  It is chalk full of supremely helpful tools and all yours for as little as $4.97 To check it out, visit: http://mollyrider.com/how-to-make-an-electronic-book/

Why?

Because this product is absolutely brand NEW!

Months ago, when I told people what I was writing; they begged me to finish early.  So, I haven’t had a chance to make it all pretty.  If you want to be impressed with fancy or perfect writing, this probably isn’t the guide for you, but if you’re looking for practical advice you can rely on, directly “from the trenches”, written by someone who has trained with the BEST, I can help you!

For many people, the biggest worry I hear is about the editing.  Everyone frets over the time and money needed for an editor. However, one of the many great resources that you will find in this eBook is the FREE online editing and readability resource: http://www.online-utility.org/english/readability_test_an...

When you visit this website, copy and paste one section at a time into the provided box. Then, click on the button that says, Process Text. Once the program has run through your text, it will provide you with a lot of information, the best of which is at the end!

For results, you will see: Number of characters, Number of words, Number of sentences, Average Number of characters per word, Average number of syllables per word, Average number of words per sentence.

Below that, you will learn the readability of your eBook. This program gives you the results from multiple readability tests, including Gunning Fog Index, Coleman Liau index, Flesh Kincaid Grade Level, Automated Readability Index and SMOG.

Do not worry about one program being better than another. The numbers represent the grade level readability of your eBook. With this information you can look to see that you are in the right ballpark. For example, if your eBook is for adults, aim for 10th grade or higher.

Lastly, the program will list a number of sentences that could be improved. This is where you should spend the most time. Read these sentences out loud and decide if they need additional attention or changes.
