IGGPRA Offers Vineyard Seminar on Heat Illness Prevention

June 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Paso Robles, Calif. (June 21, 2011) - The public is invited to join the Independent Grape Growers of the Paso Robles Area (IGGPRA) for a seminar on Heat Illness Prevention and Management of Powdery Mildew and Bunch Rot in Your Vineyard. The seminar will be held from 9:00 am to Noon on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at J. Lohr Winery Wine Center, located at 6169 Airport Road in Paso Robles, Calif.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Chris Browning of Ag Safety and Compliance, and Dr. Mike Yoshimura, Professor of Plant Pathology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

IGGPRA appreciates the support of Sean Morales of BASF for this seminar. 1.5 hours of Continuing Education Credits has been applied for.

The seminar will be FREE for IGGPRA members and $20 for non-members.
