Sun Mobility doing business in Central Florida (Orlando) since 2005 providing mobility scooters for rent and sales has established a new Delaware corporation, Sun Mobility Holdings, Inc., June 8, 2011, for the purposes of offering Sun Mobility franchises throughout the United States and Canada. One of the major locations for scooters rentals has been Florida Mall.
Sun Mobility Holdings, Inc. is in the process of developing a thorough and well defined franchise system in anticipation of establishing over 50 franchisees during the next 18 months.
James Quirk and Derek Malam have been in the mobility scooter industry since the early 2000 in United Kingdom where they built a profitable scooter rental and sales business and sold out after a few years to business executives from AOL and Time Warner.
Both Mr. Quirk and Mr. Malam have a wealth of information, knowledge, skills and history in the mobility scooter industry that will benefit future franchisees in operating a successful and profitable Sun Mobility franchise.
Joining Mr. Quirk and Mr. Malam is Ken Hollowell, President of Profran Consultants, Inc. (Orlando) who will hold the position of CEO in Sun Mobility Holdings, Inc. and who has over 37 years of experience in franchise consulting, coaching and development of franchisor companies. Mr. Hollowell stated, “Franchising today is yield over $2 Trillion to our economy and growing at an amazing rate since the down swing of our economy and unemployment beginning in 2007.”
Mr. Quirk, Preside of the company explained, “To fund the massive undertaking of a franchise system, the company has prepared a $5 Million Private Placement Offering offering it’s stock to no more than 50 private investors.”
Mr. Malam, CFO said, “The company already has serious inquiries into the franchise offering.” Mr. Malam further stated the initial franchise fee is $30,000 for a population of 250,000 but area develop rights are available to qualified individuals that will allow for larger populations.
A typical franchise operation is expected to gross between $250,000 to $300,000 annually with a net profit of at least 40 percent to the franchisee.
