Jun. 22, 2011 - West Nyack, NY - Before family and friends, York Kleinhandler announced his candidacy for the Rockland County Legislature in West Nyack. Kleinhandler is seeking the 10th District seat which includes parts of Clarkstown, Nyack, Upper Nyack, and along the western side of DeForest Lake.
"It's a time for action, it's a time for change, it's a time for new leadership and I am excited to announce my candidacy for the 10th District's seat in the Rockland County Legislature"
Kleinhandler stated. "Our community is facing more problems day after day as a result of an irresponsible and nonsensical county government and we must change our course. We must have county leaders committed to fiscal discipline, economic growth and tax relief in order to get our community and the nation back on track."
Kleinhandler's campaign, although still in its early stages, has plans to announce several campaign events and fundraisers in the coming days and will launch an aggressive grassroots campaign to bring action and accountability to the Rockland County Legislature.
