Nextep Sony's Big Plans for 2020

June 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Designer Hiromi Kiriki just took the smart phone to the next level. Hiromi designed Nextep around the new flexible OLED touch screen and is intended to be worn as a bracelet. And seriously this thing looks awesome!

Sony has plans for this project like, a holographic projector for a screen, a pull out keyboard and the ability to set the device on the table. Really, with technology advances who knows what else by the time this is released to the public. I am sure a lot of it will be designed specifically around this product. And seeing as OLED's are already ready to be mass produced at an effective cost we will probably see knock offs much sooner.

Even though Nextep is still a concept with the advancement of smart phones and tablets is this really a far reach? Mobile watches are readily available. It won't be long before the entire world is walking around with “James Bond” quality gadgets!
