myParcelDelivery.com™ move up another gear with Investment deal

June 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The company has secured funding from successful entrepreneurial Investor Mark O’Brien, who joins the Board of Directors.

Manchester-based, myParcelDelivery.com™ was launched by Cambridge University graduates David Grimes and Paul Haydock less than a year ago.  It provides businesses, eBay sellers and the general public a cost effective and reliable means of shipping their parcels Worldwide.

By partnering with the leading UK courier companies such as UPS, DHL and TNT – users can book and pay for courier services at a much cheaper rate than if they went direct to the brands themselves.

myParcelDelivery.com™ are going to use the investment funds to accelerate their growth plans and diversify into new markets. Having achieved excellent growth in just 11 months of trading, and creating 14 jobs in Manchester in the process, the cash injection will enable the company to vastly surpass its current trading projections.

O’Brien is a very experienced digital entrepreneur, having taken his own web based business to a £200m turnover entity in just five years. O’Brien exited the company in 2006 and has since been on the lookout for another on-line business opportunity with similar quick growth potential.

The website has also won a number of other awards and is in the final shortlist for two of the categories in the Big Chip Awards on 16th June 2011.
