June 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The Projection Booth is proud to present the sixteenth episode of their podcast. Each week the Projection Booth's hosts, Mike and Mondo Justin, examine a favorite film--putting it in context and discussing its merits and impact.

Since its introduction, The Projection Booth has hosted a cavalcade of celebrity guests including Dolph Lundgren, Allan Nicholls, Wings Hauser, Alex Winter, Greydon Clark, Jim Van Bebber and many more.  With the latest episode, The Projection Booth adds several names to their roster.

In 1987 Detroit got a new hero, Robocop. This cyborg hero fought crime on the streets and in the boardroom.  Starring Peter Weller, the film was the second English language film and first U.S. effort from spirited Dutch director Paul Verhoven.

In 2011 Detroit podcasters Mike and Mondo Justin released a deluxe edition of The Projection Booth all about Robocop and its legacy.  The show includes interviews with stars Nancy Allen, Miguel Ferrer, and Ronny Cox along with writers Ed Neumeir and Michael Miner.  Also along for the ride is second unit director Monte Hellman, novelization writer Ed Naha, and Jerry Paffendorf, one of the people behind the crowd-funded Robocop statue.

Between interviews the episode includes a remarkable selection of songs inspired by Robocop; everything from hip hop to hardcore and even a musical number called "Murphy, It's You" by Jon & Al Kaplan, the guys behind the Silence of the Lambs musical.
