RecruitMilitary to Present Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in Colorado Springs on July 21

June 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH -- RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a free civilian employment, business-ownership, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds at Norris-Penrose Event Center in Colorado Springs on Thursday, July 21. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
   
The company expects more than 35 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are the Air National Guard, Alcoa Inc., Allstate, Argosy University, Brooks Institute/Colorado Tech University, Columbia College, Cruise One/Cruises Inc., the Defense Intelligence Agency, DeVry University, Enterprise Products, First Command Financial Planning, G4S Secure Solutions (USA), Grand Canyon University, HSS – Shared Services, Kaiser Permanente, the National Veterans Employment Program (NVEP) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Northrop Grumman, Quest Diagnostics, Raytheon Mission Operations and Services (MOS), Redstone College, Snap-On Tools, The Art Institutes, The Home Depot, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Troy University, Union Pacific Railroad, USAA, Verizon Wireless, and Virginia College.

RecruitMilitary (www.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919.

RecruitMilitary has scheduled 29 additional Expos for 2011.
