SONIC Drive-in Opens Restaurant in Calumet City, Illinois with Design by Wilkus Architects

June 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Wilkus Architects is proud of its long association with SONIC Corporation and has recently completed a new restaurant for SONIC master franchisee, MHR Enterprises, LLC. In Calumet City, Illinois (River Oaks Shopping Center).  The 1600 square foot location is of SONIC prototypical design and offers 29 drive-ins, a double drive-thru and outdoor covered walk-up service.  
Providing Structural Engineering services was CHA of Sanger, Texas, Mechanical/Electrical services were provided by PE Services of Lebanon, Ohio and Civil Engineering services were by ARC Design Resources, Inc., Loves Park, Illinois.  Northstar Construction Services, LLC of Ozark, Missouri was the General Contractor.  This is the second Sonic completed by Wilkus Architects for franchisee Mike Perry of Great Lake Sonics.
