Comz Teen Summit Show
Artist Comz, 19, rocks two shows in the same the day. Comz performed at the "Juneteenth Festival" in Jacksonville NC and the hopped on the road to Greenville where he turned out a huge crowd at the "Teen Summit" put of by the AKA Fraternity at East Carolina University. Here, Comz stole the show by getting the crowd jumping from the second he stepped on the stage. The artist Comz made a statment before the show claiming, "Today is about proving myself as a true MC, rather than just another rapper..." Using the old school DJ/MC style of the past, Comz did just that getting a standing ovation from both the older crowd as well as the younger generations. Amoung many comments from the audience, "Refreshing"
In other news, artist Comz has been working on his freshmen album in titled "Love Doesn't" (release date pending). Comz states thats hes currently, "waiting paitently" on the release of the first single off the album "Leaving Now". The song was recorded with master producer Mark Lassiter in Selection Sound Studios. Artist such as; Aerosmith, Anthony Hamilton, and Kirk Franklin recorded their album under the same roof. ( located in Charlotte, NC)
When asked about the title choice for his freshmen album he responded, "In my eyes the mixtapes are making music that good for the moment"..."Although some of those songs are hot they wont last for ever because there typically no meaning"..."
