“It was an exceptional evening,” said Dottie Jordan, Executive Director. “We are so grateful to the teachers who have dedicated so much to the Center and to the community members who joined us in the celebration.”
MKCCC opened its doors in 1971 to 25 three- and four- year old children in rented classroom spaces. Since then, the Center has grown to caring for 160 children daily, ages three months to twelve years of age. The Center employs forty teachers, some of which have been involved for as long as twenty years.
“Our goal has remained the same since the beginning; to nurture the possibility and potential of every child in our program, explained Jordan. “These committed teachers have created an environment that fosters that potential.”
