Curtlin Toys and Games releases brand new board game 'KATATU'

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 20, 2011 - KATATU is a strategy based game that has roots similar to 'Nine Mens Morris' and has been passsed down and played in many Countries all over the world for the past 3000 years.  KATATU, which means 'three' takes on a unique game variation with the addition of diagonal lines and three more playing pieces to make for a more exciting and more chalanging game experience. The game board is similar looking to a Spider Web in design and magnetic 'bugs' (bees & Grasshopper) are used as the game pieces.  The game is played by placing, sliding and then flying your bees and grasshoppers to make 'three in a rows' or 'mills'.  The player to continually make 'threes' succesfully and  eliminate your opponent wins!!

KATATU is a portable game board and even comes with a bug pouch or 'Bug Bag' to carry your game pieces.  KATATU will be in available to purchase and in local stores in the Washington DC metropolitan area starting in August 2011.
