Follow on Google News | Women’s Network Group to Hold Monthly Meeting June 30Sisters U is growing fast! Sisters U is hosting its fourth members meeting June 30 on "Creating Your Image From the Inside Out". This meeting is part one of a two part series on self image.
By: Sisters U Steve Brown of Looking Glass Photography and Heather McCloskey of McCloskey Partners, LLC will offer women suggestions for creating – or re-creating -- their image. Topics will include: • finding your image • stop self-sabotaging • embracing your authentic self This is part one of a two part series dedicated to focusing on the importance of self image. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the Sisters U office, 623 W. Market Street in Perkasie. Members attend for free; for non-members, the meeting fee is $10, which includes refreshments. Register by going to www.sistersu.com. Since its launch in February 2011, Sisters U has developed a loyal following among women in the Delaware Valley. The organization has more than 500 followers on Facebook and has been able to provide an environment of sisterhood connection for more than 40 women at each of its monthly meetings. Sisters U encourages its members to share their stories, and welcomes experts from the community to speak about real issues that women face on a daily basis. In addition to its monthly meetings, Sisters U so far has: • Partnered with Creekside Inn on behalf of A Womans Place and Keystone Opportunities Counsil, raising more than $1,000; • formed running groups to support local charities; • held cooking classes and book clubs. Sisters U is committed to providing connection, resources and education to all women to inspire them to be healthy from the inside out.
