Brandutainment™ pioneers O2 Media, welcome Olympic Decathlon Gold Medalist Bryan Clay and General Mills, Inc., makers of Wheaties® and Wheaties Fuel®.  Together they team up with the Designing Spaces 'Dream Team' to help makeover the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital kitchen for the families.  Make sure to tune in to this very special edition of ‘Designing Spaces’ July 1st, at 7:30am (ET/PT) as they air on Lifetime Television.

The Designing Spaces ‘Breakfast of Champions® Kitchen Makeover’ special takes place at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.  For viewers, it will feel as if they are right there with nails and hammers in hand, as the ‘Designing Spaces’ cameras follow the kitchen makeover process from start to finish.

Special guest Olympic Decathlon Gold Medalist, Bryan Clay also joins the Designing Spaces ‘Dream Team’ by not only helping out in the kitchen, but by also helping bring smiles to the faces of the young patients at the hospital.

It was through Clay’s relationship with Wheaties® that he was given the opportunity to work with a great group of people and team up to create a new Wheaties® cereal called FUEL—a cereal that’s branded for today’s athletes and today’s active people.

“It’s been a great relationship so far with Wheaties® and Wheaties Fuel®, and through that relationship I am able to do different opportunities—like today,” says Clay.  While the Wheaties® team is helping make over the kitchen in the teen and family lounge area, I get a chance to visit with the children here at the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.”

Clay adds, “When Wheaties® asked me to help out—how could I turn that down?  I can’t pass off on an opportunity like this when I have the chance to brighten a child’s day—or to make them smile when they’re going through some of the challenges that they’re going through.  That’s what I feel I’ve been given my gifts and talents for.”

“Having Bryan Clay join the Designing Spaces ‘Breakfast of Champions® Kitchen Makeover’ project was amazing,” says Lysa Liemer, ‘Designing Spaces’ Executive VP of Programming and Chief Operating Officer.  “Bryan was able to bring smiles to the faces of the children, and the Wheaties® team was able to make those smiles even brighter by giving their kitchen a fresh, new look!”
