APIC Conference to Showcase Innovative UV Disinfection Technologies

The risks associated with Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAIs) are enormous. A study in the Archives of Internal Medicine reported that in 2006, HAIs cost $8.1 billion in added annual medical costs.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates there are approximately 1.7 million HAIs contracted annually.  UV disinfection technologies developed by UVDI provide a cost effective means to combat HAIs.
