The International Watch and Jewelry Guild Announces "Summer Expo 2011"

June 20, 2011 - PRLog -- The International Watch and Jewelry Guild announces their Summer Expo 2011 will be held in Chicago on June 27th and 28th, 2011. The venue for the show will be the Crowne Plaza O’Hare Hotel and Conference Center, at 5440 North River Road, Rosemont Il. 60018.

The members and guests only IWJG Show is already 20% larger than last year’s Chicago event.

According to Joseph P. Nelson, Executive Director of the International Watch and Jewelry Guild "Our registrations have been at record levels for all of our shows since September 2010. The Chicago Summer Expo will kick off our 2011 summer season. The growth of the Chicago area show can be attributed to several factors, including the improving economy, strong international dealer participation, the quality of our members and their inventories, plus the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center is a great venue. The facility is wonderful and its proximity to O’Hare Airport (5 minutes away) makes it an easy in and out for our members and their guests. This year, as a major plus factor, the memberships of the Chicago Jewelers Association, the Illinois Jewelers Association and the Illinois Pawnbrokers Association will all be joining our IWJG membership for this great event. We are excited to be back in the windy city."

Then in August, the IWJG heads to Los Angeles for the first time in a decade before returning to Las Vegas in September. This is quite a line up."
