Beating off stiff competition, the judges were impressed by a number of factors that has helped propel the four-star venue to being one of the most highly regarded in the region.
Operational performance over the past 12 months, continual investment in new technology, opening of a new hotel extension, the arrival of the new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill and the award-winning health club and spa were just some of the reasons why Cadbury House was chosen ahead of all other entries.
The fact that it employs 250 people and has helped attract business to the area also played a major factor in the judges’ decision.
Paul Evans, hotel manager said: “This is a great achievement and everyone involved at Cadbury House should be extremely proud.
“The redevelopment of Cadbury House over the past five years has really raised the bar in terms of the standard of hotels visitors to the region can now expect and means other operators having to emulate the high level of accommodation and service now available here.
“The award-winning health club is also regarded by many in the industry as being one of the most advanced in the country and the arrival of Marco Pierre White has also made its mark on the regional restaurant business.
“All these factors are a clear demonstration of the commitment to continually bring the best to the venue and reinforces Cadbury Houses’ position as being the best hotel in the region.”
