To Greece from Russia with love!

June 18, 2011 - PRLog -- The radiant bride and groom affirmed their love for each other in a sophisticated and elegant ceremony on a wooden deck at the Athenian seaside, surrounded with blue and white garlands embracing two wooden columns which stood behind two subtle white linen drapes with matching flowers used for tiebacks in the form of small bouquets.  The posh wooden deck opened up to a sea view setting fit for "Zeus" himself with the six spectacular bridesmaids haute coutured in various shades of blue all tall and slender one more stunningly beautiful than the next. The gentle Aegean Sea calm as a mirror sat magnificently still at the backdrop of the ceremony setting.

The bride entered escorted on her father’s arm, up the white carpet, after the six bridesmaids had made their entrance and stood patiently waiting to the strumming of the" Love Story" instrumental followed by "Cant take my eyes off of you".  Vowes were exchanged and the ceremony completed with the officiator elatingly exclaiming in Russian, the words, “Поцелуй невеста!”  translated as  “kiss the bride!”  Al Bano and Romina Power's  famous  “Felicita” sounded as blue and white petals showered the couple when they kissed.

Cocktails and canapé were the order of the day as guests were mesmerized with the picturesque setting of the sea that lay before them under the Greek sunset, as photographers and videographers stylishly captured guests mingling; moments were passionately recorded with journalistic imagery before the guests were seated at a luxuriously sumptuous five course gala dinner. The couple selectively chose to celebrate their special day at a seaside venue on the Athenian Rivera, which sits high up on the luxurious Vouliagmennis seafront and eludes the distinct air and grace of one being on any one of the most famous islands in Greece.

The bride wearing a white classical off the shoulder Pro Novias gown resembled nothing less than the beautiful Greek goddess “Helen of Troy” that sunk a thousand ships. The first dance captivated guests as the newly weds gracefully worked through the meticulous choreography, step by step portraying the reality of how their paths had crossed in the two cities of Moscow and London and how these fate meetings led to their astounding wedding in Greece.  Both young professionals, the bride a highly sort after attorney, the groom a Harvard Business school graduate and prominent professional in mergers and acquisitions traveled from their home town in Moscow to celebrate their wedding in Greece.  When asked why Greece, the bride proudly shared with us that through her childhood she visited Greece often with her parents. Always at night wherever she found herself, she was lulled to sleep with her father’s intriguing tales of Greek Mythology at bedtime. During those precious early days of childhood Anna, the bride,  had secretly made up her mind that if ever she would marry, she would only choose the country of the gods… Greece as the venue!  At the end of the wedding celebrations when thank you’s were in order,  the bride publically thanked the meticulous planning of both Diane and Theodora the event specialists at Design a Day in Greece, who made her childhood dream come true, emotionally ending with    “……Diane and Theodora, I am so glad that I found you!”

The happy couple have now set sail on a private yacht to Mikonos where incidentally Shakaria has chosen to spend the next few days relaxing with her Spanish star football boyfriend.  The bridal couple will also visit Paros and Santorini on their yacht, before returning to Moscow.
