The Center, which promotes natural healing for each season of life, is offering a wide variety of integrative and holistic practices to balance and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. The Center will also offer patient health education and ongoing wellness programs which will be offered to members of the community.
“Stress, poor nutrition, chronic illness and emotional pain take a great toll on people’s health,” says Dr. Kathia Roberts, the founder and principal of Seasonal Health. “Our facility combines many different modalities and forms of healing to promote true healing from within, along with assistance from nature’s pharmacy. We address the mind and body to help with many different types of conditions.”
The Center is located at 117 Washington Street, 2nd Floor. The warm, inviting and soothing space features four treatment rooms; each room represents a season that symbolizes the changes a person goes through each year. The main room is the colorful Autumn Room, which is designed as the heart of the practice, where workshops and gatherings will take place. The Summer Room, Winter Room and Spring Rooms are all dedicated to promoting wellness in different areas of a person’s life and are colorfully and creatively decorated to maintain the theme.
Seasonal Health practitioners specialize in the treatment of many, common yet often difficult to treat chronic illnesses: Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), stress, Chronic Fatigue, Epstein-Barr Virus, Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN), Diverticulitis, colds, constipation, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, anxiety, insomnia, depression, headaches, Hypoglycemia, Hormone Imbalances, fertility, allergies and skin ailments.
“Our center will serve the specific needs of each individual to help them find their path to optimum health and wellness,” said Roberts. “Through holistic nutrition, herbal medicine, and alternative and integrative medicine, we will treat, empower and educate patients to take charge of their own health. We feel that when individuals make life-enhancing changes that positively influence themselves, it also inspires their family, friends and those around them, resulting in a healthier community for all.”
